"A plate for me, a plate for London": what does it mean? I stamped these words on the plates to contribute to the fabulous work done by non-profit organisation  A Plate for London to help feed Londoners in need.

For every order, I will donate the plate value to A Plate for London. They can create a nutritious meal for just £1, which means that when buying a plate for yourself, you're actually buying 25 meals for hungry Londoners!

DIMENSIONS

Approximate diameter: 18 cm
Approximate weight: 280 g

Each piece is handmade and therefore different. These dimensions are provided as a guide, on an indicative basis. They will most certainly vary slightly from one piece to the other.

COLOUR

Gloss white: a shiny white glaze with a toasted edge where the glaze meets the clay.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

All tableware is food and dishwasher safe, however hand washing will extend the life of your pieces.

Ceramics shouldn't be exposed to rapid temperature changes. Use in microwaves is not recommended, as there is the chance of cracking.

VARIATIONS

Each piece has its own character, with beautiful imperfections, as they are all hand built in my studio, before going through two high-temperature kiln firings. I use recycled stoneware, so little speckles and nuances may appear from time to time, that's the beauty of it.
